Hello! I’m Marc Stephens—a Creative/Design Director with deep experience building and revitalizing brands. I specialize in turning strategy into bold ideas and meaningful experiences that connect with people and drive results. Along the way, I’ve built and led multidisciplinary teams, mentored talent, and helped organizations bring their stories to life in more human, impactful ways.
Most recently, I served as Senior Creative Director at Edelman Financial Engines, leading an in-house team across campaigns, design systems, digital experiences, and content. I helped reimagine the brand to be more accessible and people-centered—translating complex financial ideas into clear, compelling experiences.
Before that, I was VP, Executive Creative Director at Life Time, a national health and wellness brand. I set the creative vision, guided brand strategy, launched new experiences, and built a collaborative team culture that elevated work across every touchpoint.
Earlier in my career, I worked on the agency side as Digital Creative Director at Fallon, Carmichael Lynch, and Colle McVoy, shaping campaigns for brands including Cadillac, H&R Block, Porsche, Land O’Lakes, Target, and Harley-Davidson.
My work has been recognized by Effies, FWA, Webby Awards, AIGA, and Communication Arts—and, most importantly, my kids, who named me Father of the Year 19 times in a row (and counting).
